I'm just a guy that found a passion for wood working. I came up with the name for my custom wood working from a friend of mine that was killed in Afghanistan. We served in the Army together, he was a combat medic, and I am an Air Defender. He had a tattoo on his chest that he and his best friend decided to get before joining the military. They tattooed the name "Burnwood" into their chest. The story he told behind the name is a little different than the story that I received from his father years later😉.

I'm a family man, I'm eternally married to my beautiful wife of 15 years and we have 6 amazing children. I've always been one that works best with my hands, whether it's been mechanical or construction of any kind. I have always admired fine craftsmanship and have been curious how certain pieces were made. I am still learning so, this is just a hobby for me and gives me the opportunity to explore, learn and grow as a craftsman. I'm in no way and industry leader or expert but I do pay close attention to detail and I'm meticulous when it comes to my work.
